📦 Installation Guide (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Download the extension: Click the "Download Extension" button above to download the .zip file
  2. Extract the zip: Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your computer (e.g., Desktop/cleanfinding-extension)
  3. Open Extensions page:
    • Chrome: Go to chrome://extensions
    • Edge: Go to edge://extensions
  4. Enable Developer Mode: Toggle "Developer mode" switch in the top right corner
  5. Load the extension: Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted extension folder
  6. Pin the extension: Click the extensions icon (puzzle piece) in your toolbar and pin CleanFinding for easy access
  7. Start browsing safely: Type "cf" in the address bar followed by your search query!

How to Use

🔍 Search with CleanFinding: Type "cf" followed by your search query in the address bar

🆕 New Tab: Every new tab opens with CleanFinding search interface

🖱️ Right-Click Search: Select text on any page, right-click, and choose "Search with CleanFinding"

📊 View Statistics: Click the extension icon to see how many trackers have been blocked

⚙️ Customize: Click the extension icon and select "Settings" to configure filtering options
